Calendar Sync
Reservation emails now include a calendar file attachment. When someone books a stay, everyone on the property gets an email with a .ics file they can tap to add the reservation directly to their Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or any calendar app. One tap and it's on your calendar.
Property Calendar
The Calendar just got a lot more useful. In addition to tracking who's staying and when, you can now add recurring property events directly to the calendar. Trash pickup, cleaning service, pest control, lawn care, pool service, whatever keeps your property running. Set it once with a recurrence and it shows up automatically. A new Upcoming section on your Dashboard shows the next few events at a glance so nothing sneaks up on you. Toggle between Stays and Events on the calendar to keep things clean, especially on mobile.

Day Detail View
Tap any day on the reservation calendar to see all bookings for that date before jumping to a new booking. Each entry shows who's staying, the room, and the full date range. Tap the arrow to edit an existing booking directly from the day view. Works on desktop and mobile.
Reservation UX Updates
The reservation calendar got smarter. Bookings now show who's staying first, followed by the room name, so the most important info is visible even on small screens. We also merged the old "Title" and "Guest Name" fields into a single "Who's staying?" field to keep things simple.
Viewer Role
Give anyone read-only access to your property without making them a co-owner. Perfect for your cleaning crew, your kids, or anyone who needs visibility without editing rights. Viewers can see the reservation calendar, notes, inventory, shopping list, and maintenance log. They can't touch expenses, checklists, or contacts. Invite up to 2 Viewers on Basic, unlimited on Plus.
Notes
Announcements got a serious upgrade. Notes now supports photo uploads (up to 3 per note), optional expiration dates so time-sensitive posts disappear automatically, and anyone in the property including Viewers can post and delete. Leave fridge photos before you head home. Set instructions that expire after the weekend. It just works.
Book the Whole House
You can now reserve the entire property in one booking instead of selecting individual rooms. Just toggle to Book Whole House when creating a reservation. All rooms are automatically blocked for those dates so there are no conflicts. Whole house bookings show as a distinct terracotta banner on the calendar so everyone can see at a glance when the whole property is taken.
Fresh New Look
Dwelly has a new logo. The previous roofline mark has been replaced with a skeleton key icon over the Dwelly wordmark. You'll see it across the app, the website, the favicon, and the home screen icon. If you have Dwelly saved to your home screen remove it and re-add it from dwellyco.com to get the updated icon.
Dwelly is Live
Dwelly officially launched on May 1, 2026. Welcome to the community of families who are done managing their shared property over group texts and spreadsheets.

Property Info
A new info panel accessible from every dashboard — tap the button next to the co-owner avatars in the property header. Shows address, WiFi network and password, access and gate codes, trash pickup day, parking instructions, and general notes. Only filled fields are shown — nothing blank. Property owners can edit directly from the panel. Co-owners get a clean read-only view. Also added as an optional section in the property setup flow so you can fill it in from day one.

Inventory & Shopping List Categories
Updated the category list across Inventory and Shopping List to better reflect what's actually at a vacation property. New categories include Deli & Refrigerated, Condiments & Sauces, Dairy & Eggs, Cleaning & Laundry, Outdoor & Recreation, and more. Existing items were automatically mapped to the closest new category so nothing was lost.
Arrival Checklist
A resettable arrival checklist that mirrors the Departure Checklist. Five default tasks to get you started and fully customizable for your property. Tracks progress and resets fresh for each trip.

Property Contacts
Added a dedicated contacts module to the dashboard. Store your HOA, utility companies, local plumber, cleaning service, and anyone else important to the property. Tap to call or email directly from the app, filter by category, pin your most used contacts to the top, and search across everything in seconds.

Track Only Expenses
Not every expense needs to be split. You can now log an expense as Track Only — it appears in your expense log for visibility but has zero effect on what anyone owes. Useful for personal purchases or expenses you just want to record without splitting.
In-App Feedback
A feedback button now lives on every page of Dwelly. Tap it anytime you have a thought, spot something that feels off, or want to request a feature. Submissions go straight to the Dwelly team. No emails, no forms to hunt down — just tap, type, and submit.
Balance Calculation
Fixed a bug where Track Only expenses were still appearing in the dashboard balance summary. Balances now correctly reflect only split expenses.
Settled Expenses
Fixed a bug where settled expenses were still being included in the running balance calculation causing incorrect totals on the dashboard.
Beta Launch
Dwelly opened to its first beta users. Core features live including Reservations, Inventory, Shopping List, Expense Tracker, Departure Checklist, Maintenance Log, Announcements, and Inventory Threshold Alerts.

Reservation Email Notifications
When a reservation is made, all co-owners on the property receive an automatic email notification so everyone stays in the loop without having to check the app.
Announcements Feed
Any co-owner can post a note visible to the whole group. Perfect for quick updates that used to live in a group text.
Inventory Threshold Alerts
Set a minimum quantity on any inventory item. When stock falls below that number an alert icon appears and one tap adds it to the Shopping List automatically.
Account Management Portal
Primary owners can manage their subscription, update billing, or cancel directly from Dwelly. Co-owners see a note that billing is handled by the property owner.
Cancellation Flow
When a subscription is cancelled the account transitions gracefully to an inactive state. Data is preserved for 90 days before being permanently removed.
Onboarding Email Sequence
New users and invited co-owners now receive a welcome email sequence to help them get the most out of Dwelly from day one.
Stripe Payments
Basic plan at $9/month and Plus plan at $19/month, both with a 14-day free trial. Credit card required at signup, no charge until day 15.
Dwelly Built and Launched
Dwelly was built from the ground up in just 10 days. Domain purchased, brand finalized, app built with React and Supabase, Stripe payments integrated, and dwellyco.com went live with a coming soon page and email waitlist.
